Mission

The exponential spread of conspiracies, hate speech, extremism, incitement, and disinformation, mostly in the digital realm, poses an increasing threat to democracy and human rights globally.

The Digital Policy Lab brings together key policymakers, regulators and global experts to address disinformation, hate speech, extremism and terrorism online, and enhance democracy in the digital age

In collaboration with Institute for Strategic Dialogue (ISD) Expand Expand Collapse Collapse

ISD is made up of researchers, digital analysts, policy experts, frontline practitioners, and technologists working in the areas of digital regulation, mis- and disinformation, extremism and digital civic education. The organisation's aim is to build a clear understanding of threats to human rights and inclusive digital democracies and inform, encourage and implement effective responses. ISD has offices in London, Berlin, Washington DC, and Amman.
